About Us

TS Hawkins is part of the The Sea Cadets and is a nationwide voluntary youth organisation, open to young people aged 12 to 18 and with Junior Sections open to those of 10 to 12 years of age, run by enthusiastic adult volunteers.

If you're out to enjoy life as much as possible, this is the place for you! Fun, friendship, adventure and learning new skills is what we're about - based on waterborne activities, but with lots of other exciting things to learn and do on land as well. Have a look and see what you could be getting involved in.

"The Marine Society & Sea Cadets has two operational arms: it is responsible for the activities of the Sea Cadet Corps and also provides educational services and support for seafarers.

Whether you are at Cadet age(12-18) or Staff age(18+) you'll probably something that interest's you in the Sea Cadets/Marine Cadets."

Have a look round our website to see just some of the activities on offer, then come down to our Unit (parents encouraged) during one of our parade nights on Tuesday or Thursday between 1900 and 2130 and ask to speak to the recruiting team.

You will be able to meet some of the head of each department and the commanding officer for an informal chat to decide what exciting options are available to you.

Parade nights are Tuesday and Thursday 1900 hrs till 2145 hrs.
