Took Geoff and Aunt E for a walk. Went to Mrs Millbank to dinner. Visited Nellie’s grave. |

Empire Day celebrations. Children’s sports from 1430 till 1700. Had dinner at home, then to concert at Chefoo Club. Finished at 2300 and started dancing. Visited Nellie’s grave and attended service at 11 o’clock. |

Went to 11 o’clock service at St Andrew’s church. Rev Riddler USN splendid sermon. Same out then to club with Joe and Mrs M. Strawberry’s [sic] and cream, first of the season. After tea quiet evening. Mah Jong. |

Walk in forenoon with Geoff. Sailed at 1500 for Wei Hai Wei. Sorry to leave. Same ship. |
