

CadetsCurrent weekly subscription is £2.00 per week, this also includes a free drink during stand easy where you can also purchase snacks. A fee of £10.00 is taken for the loan of your uniform (boots excluded). Once enrolled into the Sea Cadet Corps you will have the choice of joining the Sea Cadets or Marine Cadets, you will then start new entry or recruit training. Once you have passed out as a Cadet you will be able to attend hundreds of courses, and with your own hard work and commitment be able to progress up the rank structure. |
Adult StaffWe especially need the support of adults (no experience necessary) to help run and supervise Unit activities, you could join as civilian support Staff or as Uniformed Staff. Joining and Uniform are free, Pay and Travel expenses are also available once you become a Uniformed Member of Staff. There is a monthly wardroom fee of £8 that enables use of the Wardroom facilities and a meal during the Stand Easy period each Parade night. You will have to undertake the CRB disclosure vetting procedure before you are able to join. Once You have joined the Sea Cadet Corps you will be able to attend literally hundreds of courses, many of which you will receive some sort of qualification, and some of these are Nationally recognized ie: First Aid or RYA sailing. Many Adults have joined with their Children and find it very rewarding sharing a hobby with their Children |
